Applicants should know that the application procedure is entirely online and manually filled applications are subject to rejection. Candidates should ensure that they have submitted their online applications on or before 5th June 2016; the application to the office will only be accepted until 13th June 2016 by hand or post. Here is the step-by-step application procedure:
- Age – The applicant age should be in between 17-20 years
- Nationality – Indian only
- Marital Status – Unmarried only
- Salary– 5200-20200+GP 2000/- pm
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) with subjects of Math or Physics and atleast one of the subjects of Chemistry/Biology/Computer science from a recognized college or university.

- Fill the form and click ‘Submit’
- Print 2 copies of the form and sign one copy and send it across to the nearest office with the requisite documents.
The selection process involves a Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and medical examinations. The merit list will be drawn out on the basis of the number of government jobs available at the time.The selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 22 weeks, the post which the candidates who are able to successfully complete the training will be recruited for initial engagement.
Before applying to the position, the candidates should ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria. Any applicant who does not meet the eligibility criterion laid out by the Indian Navy will be rejected.
