Punjab National Bank (PNB) is one of the leading banks in India and has been on the forefront in developing the social and economic status of the country. The Punjab National Bank is the first bank into deploying micro ATMs with RuPay facilities, Aadhar based and other FI transactions at BC locations. To serve its customers better, PNB seeks candidates intrested for the mentioned recruitment.

Vacancy: General Manager –HR (Corporate) (1 Post)

Essential Required Education:

  • The candidate should have a post graduate degree/diploma in Industrial Relations/Human Resources/Organizational Development from any institute of repute.

Required Experience:

The candidates should possess at least 15 years of post qualification work experience in the field of Organizational Development, Human Resource Development and Industrial Relations.

Age Limit: 40- 50 years as on 01.01.2017

Details:

The candidate would be appointed on a 5 year contract period with 3 years extendable at the discretion of the Bank on the evaluation of performance. The selected candidate would be reporting to the Executive Director (HR)/MD & CEO. He/she would be responsible for evaluating the PNB’s human resources strategy and framework and ensure that they are aligned to the objectives of the business. Tasks of designing and deploying talent management and development systems and processes to identify talent would also be assigned after the appointment.

 

Vacancy: Chief Digital Officer (1 Post)

Essential Required Education:

  • The candidate should have a B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Science ad Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering and Communications Engineering from a recognized Unversity/ Institute with the minimum of 60% marks.
  • OR B. Sc and MCA from a recognized University/ Institute. MCs should have done a course in computer organization and Design/ Architecture. Post graduation or higher qualifications in the area relevant to the role will be given preference.
  • OR Graduate and MBA/PGDBM with specialization in Marketing & Finance should have associated with Digital Transformation and Digital Innovation.

 Required Experience:

  • The candidates must have experience as the head or second in command of its digital and/or analytic vertical in a medium/big size organization, heading a group of professional of about 20 or more, for a minimum of 3 years, and the organization serving a large customer base. The candidate must have worked in web design/development and analytics for a minimum period of 2 yrs each in these verticals.
  • OR the candidate must possess 7 years of experience in planning and execute digital/ analytics activities in the financial/ insurance sector with a strong customer base and a well defined and implemented digital & analytics functions.
  • AND the candidate must have handled technology solutions on digital products, statistical modeling, risk management and business analytics, data mining and working knowledge of statistical tools.

Age Limit: 35- 48 years as on 01.01.2017

Details:

The term of office of the holder would be for 3 years and the contract can be extended for a further period of 2 years, after reviewing the annual performance. The selected candidate would be reporting to the Managing Director and CEO. He/she would be responsible for digitally transforming the Bank, create digital banking avenues, digital revenue and define the Bank’s digital strategies. He/she would also be responsible for positioning the Bank as a Digital Brand by designing the digital roadmap and ensuring its implementation at the ground level.

 

Vacancy: Assistant General Manager (Company Secretary)(1 Post)

Essential Required Education:

  • The candidate should have minimum graduation and membership of Institute of Companies Secretaries of India.

 Required Experience:

  • The candidates must have at least 8 years post qualification experience in handling Regulatory and Compliance requirements of SEBI, NSE and BSE of an entity listed in NSE or BSE of which at least 5 years should be as Company Secretary.

Age Limit: 35- 50 years as on 01.01.2017

Pay Scale:

Basic Pay: Rs. 59170-1650/2- 62470-1800/2-66070

Details:

The appointment will be on a regular basis in SMG Scale-V. The selected candidate will be required to execute an indemnity bond of Rs. 5 lacs for a period of 3 years. The selected candidate would be reporting to the General Manager, Finance Division, HO, New Delhi. The intrested candidate would be responsible for ensuring regulatory and statutory compliances as required under the guidelines of Banking Regulation Act, SEBI (LODR) Regulations 2015. He/she will be handling issues relating to the raising of capital, servicing thereof besides related compliances.

 

Vacancy: Assistant General Manager (Economist) (1 Post)

Essential Required Education:

  • The candidate should have a Post Graduation degree in Economics with monetary/financial economics/ statistics/ econometrics as subjects from an Indian/ Foreign University recognized by the Government of India or other regulatory bodies. Candidates having Doctoral degree in these subjects and/or relevant published work/research papers will be an added advantage.

 Required Experience:

  • The candidates must have experience of the minimum of 10 years in a commercial bank/ financial institution/ rating agency/ business analytics companies out of which at least 5 years should be in the Senior Management Grade reporting directly to the top Management.
  • AND the experience should be in economic advisory, research, economic analysis, alignment of business model with the emerging economic scenario, statistical analysis of performance, planning, budgeting of business and business forecasting.

Age Limit: 45- 50 years as on 01.01.2017

Pay Scale:

Basic Pay: Rs. 59170-1650/2- 62470-1800/2-66070

Details:

The appointment will be on a regular basis in SMG Scale-V. The selected candidate will be required to execute an indemnity bond of Rs. 5 lacs for a period of 3 years. The selected candidate would be reporting to the General Manager, SMEAD. The selected candidate would be responsible for providing strategic inputs on different National Global Economic Developments and on key events like the Budget RBI monetary policies, US fed policy to assess their probable inputs on the Indian economy and the financial scenario. He/she would be responsible for the formulation of strategy and policy and in analyzing and communicating Bank’s perception to the public.
